-University degree in Engineering discipline, Mechanical Engineer preferred or 8 years commissioning experience,
-Good English skills, verbal and writing, other languages is a plus
-Team worker, good communication skill,
-Clearly communicate corrective actions to other team member via e-mails and/or phone calls,
-Candidate should have cross functionality knowledge in order to be able to work and coordinate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team.
-Completed military obligation, candidate can live in a camp area or small town
-Open to development, quick learning and share knowledge,
-5 years experience in turbine overhauls and unit startup/commissioning & controls troubleshooting.
-OEM/Siemens experience/training, job management and Bently-Nevada experience is preferred,
-Engineer will have an existing understanding of the operation, construction and control of large and medium steam turbine generators.
-This engineer will be experienced in the mechanical assembly of a steam turbine generator and the DCS & LOGIC control functions,
-This applicant will be familiar with vibration analysis and balancing of steam and gas turbine generators,
-OEM (GE, Siemens) Steam Turbine Field service (outage/overhaul) experience is highly desired
-Understand OEM documents, P&ID, HBD and technical drawings,
-Engineer will have experience and understanding Cooling Tower, peak cooler, HMG pump, Heaters,water/steam cycle process,
-Working with capital engineering to evaluate potential upgrades for long-term, sustainability, Monitoring and optimizing key process indicators, Utilize Process Information (PI) tools for monitoring, analysis and graphical representation of, Steam Turbine and operations.
-Utilize appropriate design/analysis tools as necessary, data gathering and reduction (and PI System/OSIsoft, MS Excel) along with MS office suite of tools for scheduling, reporting, presentations and others,
-Analyze engine supervisory and thermal performance data of Turbines to determine root causes and corrective actions for a variety of operational issues. Including controls, performance, auxiliaries, BOP.
-Build databases of known field issues and their indicators for reference during troubleshooting and create operation procedure for STG operations.
-Interact with team of aerothermal and performance engineers to define and develop best approaches and architecture philosophies for STG performance, troubleshooting, diagnostics and health monitoring model,
-Create condition monitoring system and find energy losses or mistakes in operation for responsible area (STG, —–Cooling Tower, BFWP, Peak Coolers, HP-LP Heaters etc.)
-Control to procedures and operator’s behavior during start-up and shut down,
-Find out energy loses in water steam circle and main equipment,
-Work with other departments for annual outage and find important issues for responsible area,
-Find root course of failure and improve process, create monthly condition monitoring report,
-Control STG or Cooling tower logics and find trips reasons, create improvement plans,
-Prepare Start up – Shut Down procedures, explain to operator and control operations.
